Council meetings will generally be held on the last Wednesday of the

month. Meetings commence at 10:00 am in the Pormpuraaw

Council Office Chambers at 24 Thinraathin St, Pormpuraaw.

Pormpuraaw Master Plan - Community Consultation:

A Master Plan for the town of Pormpuraaw is proposed.  The Master Plan is on display at the front counter of the Council office for community members to view.  A copy of the Master Plan is below along with a Community Engagement Survey, in which Council encourages you to complete and return your comments back to Council.

Local Fare Scheme:

Subsidised air fares are available for Pormpuraaw residents.  Application process to be completed before residents can be granted subsidised local fares.  For more information please go to: http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Travel-and-transport/Local-Fare-Scheme-Far-North-Queensland.aspx
